Mr. Saavedra has held technology management positions with IT&T International Telegraph & Telephone, United Telephone North Supply International Division (Sprint/Nextel), Telrad Telecommunications (Israeli National Telephone Company), VeriFone/Hewlett Packard, Capital One Financial Corporation, GTE Internetworking BBN/GENUITY Solutions and Qwest Communications Corporation.Joseph has a BS Telecommunications / Mass Communications- 1976, Northern Arizona University. Paul was founder of Partel, Inc. in 1983, a successful telecommunications interconnect company providing a full range of telecommunications products and services which he sold in 2002. Mr. Parisi, served two terms as Councilman and Vice Mayor of the Town of Oro Valley and four years on the Governing Board of the Pima County Association of Governments including being its Chairman. Paul also is a veteran of four years of military service in the United States Air Force.
Gary Blume, Principal at GB Blume & Associates, LLC
Mr. Blume brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, and management experience to the CIC Advisory team. Mr. Blume possesses vast experience in business development roles with professional services organizations such as GeoTrust, Jefferson Wells (a division of ManPower), and SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC. Mr. Blume's international experience includes his management oversight of the global strategic alliances group for the beTRUSTed division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. His various assignments have also included strategic marketing roles with companies such as British Telecom, Diebold, VeriFone, and Hewlett Packard Company.Along with managing the day-to-day operations of his consulting firm, Gary and his family are residents of Rowell, Georgia. Mr. Blume is an alumnus of the US Naval Academy where he studied the physical sciences prior to graduating from Malone College (BA) and Ashland University (MBA).
Jim Troy, Partner-CPSRetail
Mr. Troy brings over 25 years of expertise in payment systems, retail automation, channel partner development, and alliance partner relationships. Mr. Troy began his career with TeleCheck, Inc. /Tymshare, where he delivered the first completely electronic credit/debit/check authorization system supporting over 400,000 merchant locations. Mr. Troy began Integrated Transaction Solutions, Inc., where he developed alliances with VISA, NCR, IBM, Fujitsu, and Wincor-Nixdorf, along with their Business Partners.In the early 1990's Mr. Troy worked for VeriFone, Inc. where he headed up their transaction management and host-switching program called Digital Xpress. In 1998 Mr. Troy joined IVI Checkmate where he developed the indirect-channel strategy leveraging the same VAR channel relationships he has cultivated throughout his career. Mr. Troy also serves as SVP Business Development-VueMedia, Inc., a related party to Critical Path and a provider of integrated payment, in-store customer specific marketing technology applications.
